We are a professional manufacturer specializing in precision sheet metal stamping dies for automotive components. With extensive experience in die development, we have successfully designed and produced a wide range of stamping tools for key automotive parts, including structural beams, reinforcements, and brackets. Our products are known for high quality and cost efficiency. We offer customized die solutions tailored to customer specifications, based on drawings, samples, or technical standards.
As shown in the figure, GDM undertakes mold development for automotive beam stamping parts, including:
① U-shaped beams
② Flanged beams
③ Beams with large surface undulations formed by the drawing process
We participate in product feasibility studies at the early stage of product development and provide formability improvement and optimization for part structure. This ensures reliable structural strength of the product

We specialize in the design and manufacture of advanced sheet metal stamping dies for the automotive industry, delivering customized tooling solutions tailored to a wide range of production requirements. Our dies are engineered with high-quality materials—using CR12MOV, D2, A2, SKD11, DC53, and SKH-9 for punch and die components- achieving a hardness of HRC 58–62 through vacuum heat treatment and ultra-deep cryogenic processing. Die sets and standard parts are manufactured from 45# or S50C steel. Our tooling accommodates various material grades, including JSC780T, DP780, CR780, CR980T, DP600, and aluminum alloys. We offer multiple die types—single-station dies, combination dies, transfer dies, and progressive dies—supporting manual lines, automatic robot lines, and continuous feeder systems with stamping speeds ranging from 20 to 120 SPM. With a lead time of 45 to 60 days, our dies are built for durability and performance, offering a service life of 30,000 to 300,000 strokes depending on application requirements.
Technical Highlights:
| 1. Optimized Die Structure Design |
Our experienced engineers deliver intelligent die designs that streamline cycle times, reduce unnecessary manufacturing costs, and enhance overall production efficiency. |
| 2. Formability Risk Analysis |
Using AutoForm–CAE sheet metal forming simulation software, we accurately predict material flow, stress–strain distribution, and die loading. The analysis identifies potential defects such as wrinkling, cracking during forming, and springback after forming, enabling detailed optimization strategies before production. |
| 3. In-Die Sensing Systems |
Based on part geometry and die characteristics, we strategically integrate proximity sensing, laser sensing, and contact-type sensing solutions. Proper deployment of in-die sensors ensures early detection of abnormalities during production, preventing die damage and minimizing the risk of defective parts reaching downstream processes. |
| 4. High-Quality Die Components |
We source guide pins, bushings, punches, dies, springs, and other components from globally recognized brands such as MISUMI, Punch, Sankyo, Fibro, Moeller, DAYTON, SMC, BALLUFF, and Rabourdin—or as specified by the customer—to ensure precision, reliability, and extended die life. |
